For Atlanta managed IT providers
Score it on your own quotes first: send 30 past quotes, we run them free on our Mac mini in Atlanta, nothing installed.
Atlanta clients ask their IT provider about AI, and most of the tools they hear about run in someone else's cloud. Reselling a tool you have not watched work on a real price list puts your name on its mistakes. So start with your own hardware and licence quotes, scored free here in town. Ask for the draft partner terms below; a person on our team replies.

Free 30-day pilot, then $595 a month at founding sites (first 100) for as long as the box is live (draft pricing). No customer install yet.
From unit 101, $695 a month plus $1,800 onboarding. No Atlanta client, or any client, runs Staffbox today; the free score on 30 past quotes comes before any install.
Clients hear about cloud assistants; a local quote desk is a separate line item
Most AI tools your clients hear about are cloud assistants built into office software. That is a sensible offer, and it solves a different problem from ours. For how a cloud assistant and a local quote desk differ, see local AI worker vs a cloud chat assistant.
| A client says | Cloud assistant answer | Staffbox answer |
|---|---|---|
| "Can it help my team write emails and summarise documents?" | Yes, that is what it is built for. | Not the job. Staffbox drafts replies to quote requests from a price list. |
| "I will not put my price list in a chatbot." | Depends on the vendor terms and the plan. | Models run on a Mac in the client office; cloud is off unless the client adds its own key in writing. |
| "How do I know it is right?" | Usually you read each output. | A score on the client's own past quotes before purchase, then a monthly re-test. |
| "Who fixes it when it breaks?" | The vendor, through a portal. | You take first line, as you do for every other box. What comes to us after first line is not written down yet. |
Both can sit in one client (our view). A cloud-assistant rollout and a quote desk read best as two lines on the same monthly invoice.
Your firm takes install and first line; Staffbox owns the score and the re-test
The split follows what each side already does well. You know the client's network, accounts and patch window. We know how to grade a quote and fix the brain when a test fails. The client keeps the last word on every reply.
In short: Staffbox scores 30 past quotes, your firm installs the Mac, the box drafts each reply, a person at the client checks and sends, your firm takes first-line support, Staffbox re-tests monthly, and your firm applies updates after the re-test passes. The full who-does-what chart is on the company page; none of it has run with an outside provider yet.
Two lines in that picture are still open. What reaches us after your first line is not written down yet, and partner terms are private: email partners@staffbox.ai for the current draft. We do not publish numbers here. The channel overview is on For IT providers.
Your own 30 quotes are week one of a four-week start
Your own business is the cheapest proving ground. You quote hardware, licences and services from vendor price lists like your clients do. Hand us 30 of those past quotes and one price list; they run on our Mac mini in Atlanta at no charge, you grade 10 of the answers blind, and nothing touches your network. The demo company we use for IT quoting is fictional (Fieldstone IT); it scored 40 of 40 on our 6 October 2026 run, which tells you the tooling works and nothing about your list. AI quoting for IT providers goes through the request shapes you will recognise, such as renewals, bundles and quantity breaks.
| Week | What happens | Output |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Read the offer and the security answers. Send your 30 quotes and a price list. | Files sent |
| 2 | We run the test. You grade 10 blind against the pass bar you wrote first. | A scorecard |
| 3 | Choose one client that sends at least 8 quotes a week. Show them your own scorecard. Ask for their 30. | A second scorecard, the client's |
| 4 | If it passes, schedule an install with the checklist. | A founding site |
The weeks are our guess at a sensible pace; we have not run this plan with an outside provider yet. The client side of the conversation is covered in the Atlanta small-business AI guide.
A client that sells to the state needs the non-Qwen model
Some Atlanta clients quote public offices. Georgia's technology authority publishes a standard that lists Alibaba products and services as prohibited on state-controlled systems, and Staffbox's default model, Qwen3 8B, comes from Alibaba. The non-Qwen option is gpt-oss-20b. It needs a 32 GB Mac; on our Dell test box it scored 39 of 40 on Fieldstone, 40 of 40 on the fictional cabinet shop and 15 of 15 on the unseen messy set, and its speed on Apple hardware is not measured yet. Read Georgia AI procurement rules and the government page before you quote a public client. On a new trade it had never seen, an electrical distributor (14 Oct, Dell test box), the default Qwen3 8B setup scored 30 of 40 and 2 of 15 on messy requests, with 8 wrong prices in 55, because per-foot units, price levels and trade shorthand are not handled yet; that is why we score your own list first (the electrical result).
Questions
Do you have an Atlanta IT provider partner today?
No. First partner conversations are under way and no partner is named publicly. No customer has run Staffbox yet.
Does this replace a cloud office assistant?
No. Staffbox drafts quote replies from a price list. A general assistant that writes emails and summarises documents is a different product, and both can run for one client.
What do I send for the first test?
Thirty of your own past quote requests and one price list. We run them on our Mac mini in Atlanta, you grade 10 blind, and we delete the files within 14 days of sending your results (per our draft data policy).
