Atlanta
AI for Atlanta small businesses, on a box in your office
Short answer: if you send 8 or more quotes a week from a price list, start with a free score on 30 past quotes; nothing gets installed.
If your company answers quote requests by copying rows from a price list into emails, you know how much of the day that takes. Most AI tools want the price list in a vendor's cloud, and payment before you see a result. Staffbox does the reverse: it drafts on a Mac mini in your office, a person at your company sends every reply, and you see a score on your own past quotes first. Send up to three requests your team already answered; drafts come back within 2 business days.

Free 30-day pilot, then $595 a month at founding sites (first 100) for as long as the box is live (draft pricing). No customer install yet.
Cancel any time. Sites from 101 on: $695 a month plus $1,800 onboarding. Nobody in Atlanta or elsewhere runs Staffbox yet, so your own free 30-quote score is the evidence that counts.
It writes the draft and cites the price-list row; someone at your company sends it
Staffbox is an AI worker. It reads quote requests that arrive by email, looks up each item in your price list, and writes a draft reply. Every priced line cites the price-list row and the date of that list. The draft lands in your drafts folder. Someone on your team reads it, fixes it if needed and presses send. Staffbox has no sending code, so it cannot send for you.
The models run on the Mac in your building. Cloud AI is off unless you add your own key in writing. For many owners that is the point: a price list is the part of the business they will not paste into a public chatbot.
What a draft looks like (illustrative)
The example below was written for this page. It is an invented request to a fictional cabinet shop, not output from our test set, and the prices are made up.
| Incoming request | Draft reply (for a person to check) |
|---|---|
| "Need 12 white shaker base cabinets, 30 inch, plus two end panels. Delivery to Marietta. Can you quote by Friday?" | Priced: 12 x base cabinet, shaker white, 30 in, $200.00 each = $2,400.00 (price list dated 1 Oct, row 41). 2 x end panel, shaker white, $60.00 each = $120.00 (row 77). Not priced: delivery to Marietta. The list has no delivery rate for that address. Flagged for a person. |
Notice two things. Each line says which row it used. And the item the list cannot price is flagged and left for a person. A draft that guesses a delivery charge would be worse than one that asks. The quote action flags unstocked items instead of substituting (by design; 0 wrong totals in 475 test answers). On a new trade it had never seen, an electrical distributor (14 Oct, Dell test box), the default Qwen3 8B setup scored 30 of 40 and 2 of 15 on messy requests, with 8 wrong prices in 55, because per-foot units, price levels and trade shorthand are not handled yet; that is why we score your own list first (the electrical result).
You fit if you send 8 or more quotes a week from a price list
The test is one number, and it is the volume the offer is built for. Without a written price list there is nothing for a draft to cite, so the list matters as much as the count. The segments we name are distributors, fabricators, cabinet and millwork shops and IT providers, because those are the shapes of request we test on.
- Supply houses and distributors with a price list and counter or phone requests turned into emailed quotes. See Atlanta distributors.
- Cabinet and millwork shops that price from catalogue rows plus options.
- Fabricators that quote from material and process tables.
- IT providers that price hardware and licences from a vendor price list.
We have tested on two fictional companies: Fieldstone IT and Peachtree Cabinet Works. Neither is a real business. We have not tested on a real Atlanta price list yet, and the free 30-quote score is how we find out for yours.
The first step is a free score on 30 past quotes, run on our Mac mini in Atlanta
You decide on your own numbers, not ours. The whole path before any install is free:
- Send one past request through the form above. We send back what Staffbox would have drafted, misses included.
- If that looks useful, send 30 past requests and your price list.
- Grade 10 of the answers without knowing which are ours. Our pilot guide shows how.
- If the score passes the bar you set beforehand, pick a day for the install with your IT provider.
What "Atlanta" changes, and what it does not
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Where is the company? | Atlanta. The phone, 404 493 6248, is answered by a person. |
| Where does the free score run? | On our own Mac mini in Atlanta. You send 30 past quote requests and the price list. We delete the files within 14 days of sending your results (per our draft data policy). Nothing is installed at your office for this step. |
| Do you visit? | We have not stated an on-site visit policy. Installs and first-line support go through your IT provider. If you do not have one, ask us on the phone. |
| Is there an Atlanta customer? | No. No customer has run Staffbox yet, here or anywhere. The first sites are founding sites. |
| Local statistics? | None on this page. We would rather leave out a number than borrow one we cannot source. |
After a pass: a free 30-day pilot, then $595 a month at founding sites (first 100) for as long as the box is live
Price: $595 a month at founding sites (first 100) for as long as the box is live, free 30-day pilot, no onboarding fee; $695 a month plus $1,800 onboarding from unit 101. You can end any time. The scorecard shows that price next to the return it projects from your own quote volume, so you can judge the two together.
Because no customer has run Staffbox yet, the first Atlanta sites will be founding sites, and their scores will be the first real ones. If your price list is a scanned PDF, read how to prepare your price list before you send it.
